The University of Wisconsin-Stout awarded students through the Stout University Foundation during a reception on campus Sept. 12.

Katie Ladsten of Prairie du Sac received the Fanchon A. Johnson Amundson Endowed Memorial Scholarship and the Bida Lou Braker Scholarship. Ladsten is majoring in family and consumer sciences education.

Tessa Wagner of Baraboo received the Arzoumanian/Drake Endowed Scholarship, the Alma and Charles Pagnucco Endowed Scholarship and the Lynn Pritchard Memorial Scholarship. Wagner is majoring in apparel design and development.

Scholarships awarded were valued at more than $600,000 to 320 UW-Stout students. Many of the scholarship donors and members of the board of directors personally presented the awards.

Established in 1962, the Stout University Foundation Scholarship Program has helped more than 7,750 students receive a college education. Through the financial support of alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university the program has awarded more than $10 million.
