Ralph Robert Jensen, 74, of Baraboo, passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at St. Clare Hospital. Ralph, son of Robert and Margaret (Meyer) Jensen was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Milwaukee. On Sept. 24, 1966, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Pierce; she preceded him in death on April 22, 2009. He was employed by St. Clare Hospital in the maintenance department until he transitioned to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Ralph was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking; making gun cabinets, bird houses and jewelry boxes to name a few. Ralph will be remembered for being a kind man that would help anyone in need. He volunteered for St. James Church in Prairie du Sac for many years. Family will fondly remember Ralph’s ability to tell stories from years ago.

Survivors include his mother Margaret; siblings, David (Sharon) Jensen, James (Teressa) Jensen and Linda (Rick) Hinz; as well as many loving nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Jensen; wife Patricia; and nephews, Bradley Hinz and Billy Joe Jensen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Nick Maglietto officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Friday at the church. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Sauk City Cemetery. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
