November 13 to 17, is the 96th annual American Education Week. This week has been observed since 1921, when both the National Education Association and the American Legion adopted resolutions to raise public awareness of the importance of education. American Education Week presents all Americans with the wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.

We celebrate the support and efforts of Americans to expose and close the education gaps that deny our students the basics and keep opportunity at a distance. Communities do this when they champion quality teachers along with support staff and appropriate resources. Students succeed when adults intercede, working together and standing for nothing less than excellence.

Please join the School Board and Administrative Team in recognizing the special efforts made by our faculty, staff and leaders in the Sauk Prairie School District. They faithfully dedicate their lives to teaching, serving and leading our students in this special place that we call Sauk Prairie. We thank them for their exemplary work and we thank you for your support.
