It was an absolute pleasure and a great privilege last month to be able to present about peace, Pakistan, Islam and my own work, at the Free Congregation’s Park Hall in Sauk City, where I was an exchange student six years ago. The full house was a sign of immense love for diversity and acceptance in my host community. I would like to extend my gratitude to every one of you individually for coming to the talk and supporting the cause of understanding other cultures, countries and religions. I was very glad to answer some of the amazing questions you asked. There is nothing more important than the possibility of having a discussion on differences and diversity in the current time when international politics often turn otherwise. Thanks to all who contributed toward my travel and education, and for the support from the Sauk community that has kept me going and doing all the things that I do.

I hope that the Sauk Prairie community will keep supporting exchange programs and get to know about more cultures in order to make the world a better place.
