Historical society seeks help with luminaries
The Sauk Prairie Area Historical Society is initiating a luminary celebration on Dec. 6.
The Tripp Museum along with area businesses and homeowners are lighting luminaries during the annual Light Parade to show their community pride.
To make a luminary residents can use a lunch bag, mason jar, or plastic milk jug. Fill the bottom with sand or kitty litter, place a votive candle or tea candle in the container, light it and set it along driveways or sidewalks.
