This month’s meeting the group will make birthday bags that will be delivered to the food pantry.

According to a press release submitted by the 4-H club, members are asked to bring cake mixes, frosting, decorations and small gifts or favors. The club will furnish the bags to decorate.

During its October meeting the club heard from Natlie Schepp who is a guest from Germany living with Dana Kolb and her two daughters, Jackie and Angie. The members also worked on making muffins and had supper provided by the Pertzborn family.

According to the press release, this is the time to join 4-H. Children in kindergarten through freshman in college are encouraged to join. Members can learn life skills and meet new friends. There are opportunities to participate in local clubs, county and at the state and national levels.
