Sandeman, Girotto wedding

Elizabeth Ann Sandeman  and Jeffrey Scott Girotto were married on May 10 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Houston, Texas officiated by the Most Rev. Vincent M. Rizzotto, of Galveston - Houston, and assisted by Deacon Al Bothe. The couple received a Papal Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI in honor of their marriage.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas John Sandeman, of Metairie, La. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Archie Mabbott and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dean Sandeman, all of Prairie du Sac.

She is a graduate of Saint Mary's Dominican High School, New Orleans. She graduated with a bachelors degree from the University of Alabama and two master degrees from University of Alabama-Birmingham. She is employed at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gene Girotto of Bellaire, Texas.  He is a graduate of Strake Jesuit High School, Houston, Texas and a graduate of the University of Texas. He is employed at Anadarko Petroleum Company in The Woodlands, Texas.

The couple spent their honeymoon touring Italy and now reside in Houston, Texas.
