DeWayne Askey celebrates 80th birthday

The family of DeWayne Askey, of Sauk City, will host a birthday celebration to celebrate his 80th birthday from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Prairie Town Hall, on Hwy. 12 next to Mid-State Equipment in Prairie du Sac. The family asks that there be no gifts.

Askey was born on Oct. 12, 1928. He and his family have lived in the Sauk City area since 1969. He has three children, six grandchildren and his first great-grandchild will be born soon.
