Dressers celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Marshall and Ruth Dresser will celebrate their 60 years of marriage on Oct. 5 with family and friends at an open house, hosted by their children.

The event is at the home they lived in for 40 years and now owned by their son, Larry.

They were married Oct. 15, 1948 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Evansville. They were blessed with six children, Robert (Vicky) Dresser, Larry (Phyllis) Dresser, Barbara (Robert) Dederich, Rebecca(Dean) Johnson and Thomas and Bonnie, both deceased. They have 13 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and their grandpets, Amari, Brunsell, Clementine, Chloe, Sully, Willa and Yuna.
