Ringelstetter pilots F-16

Eric N. Ringelstetter, 1st Lt. in the United States Air Force, stands next to his parents, Kay and Nick Ringelstetter, of Prairie du Sac.

Ringelstetter has graduated as one of the newest F-16 Viper pilots after completing his training in the F-16C Fighting Falcon, Viper, at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix, Ariz.

His training will continue on night vision goggles, laser guided bombing and other specialized F-16 missions.

Ringelstetter will be transferred to an operational unit in South Korea in February. He is a 2001 graduate of the Sauk Prairie High School.
