The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Kathy Brickl, of Sauk City. She is a 2005 graduate of Sauk Prairie High School. She is employed by Village Family Dental as a dental assistant. She is a graduate of MATC.

The groom-elect is the son of Jerry and Deb Halweg, of Merrimac. He is a 2003 graduate of Sauk Prairie High School. He is employed by American Indoor Environments as a sheet metal worker.
