Joseph J. Cassiani, 64, of Lodi/Sun Prairie/ Laguna Vista, Texas, died at home on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Mr. Cassiani was born in Chicago on Nov. 18, 1943.

He is survived by his best friend of 23 years, Carole Victorson; a daughter, Sharon (Peter) Carrara and grandson, Brandon Carrara, of Lake Worth, Fla.; his father, Vincent Cassiani, of Plainfield; and a brother, James (Barb) Cassiani, of Plainfield.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his beloved dog, Tia.
