Jamie D. Patterson, 36, of Sauk Prairie, died unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Mr. Patterson was born in Sauk City on July 3, 1972, the son of Douglas and Wanda (Zimmerman) Patterson. He was a stay-at-home dad and enjoyed spending time with his children, and hunting and fishing.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his fiancee, Robin Roessler; a daughter, Jordan Patterson; a son, Jacob Patterson; his parents, Douglas and Wanda Patterson; two brothers, Jason Patterson and Jeremy (Becky) Patterson; grandparents, Eldon and Dorothy Zimmerman, and Janice Soelle; nieces and nephews, Nick, Aly, Seth, Simon and Lucas Patterson; and Griffin Frisch and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Cody; and his grandfather, LaVerne Patterson.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at Hooverson Funeral Home in Sauk City with Fr. Michael Resop officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. a.m. until the time of service.
