Betty Jean Schuette, 76, of Sauk Prairie - October 1, 2008
Betty Jean Schuette, 76, of Sauk Prairie, died, Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo.
Mrs. Schuette was born in Baraboo on Jan. 26, 1932, the daughter of the late George and Ila (Kinnamon) Schonasky. She was married to Robert Schuette on March 29, 1952.
Mrs. Schuette was a loving and devoted farmers wife, mother and sister. She was a very giving and selfless person opening her heart and home to family, friends or anyone that needed a word of encouragement or shelter from a storm. With a passion for life and living, she had many friends of all ages. She served as a role model for so many who crossed her path. Some of her interests included bowling,
baking, sewing, playing cards, collecting recipes and observing nature.
Mrs. Schuette is survived by a son, Randy Schuette, of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Robert Schonasky, of Dane; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert on July 12, 2005; a brother, George Schonasky and a sister, Evelyn Sinner.
A memorial service was Sept. 26 at Hooverson Funeral Home in Sauk City with the Rev. Dennis Weis officiating. Interment will be later in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery.
