Joseph "Joey" Miller, 54, of Prairie du Sac, died on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008.
Mr. Miller was born in Madison on April 13, 1954 to Joseph and Shirley (Germann) Miller. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 1972 and then attended UW-Superior.
Mr. Miller married Karen Marie Matthews on Nov. 14, 1992 and they resided in Prairie du Sac. He was self-employed as a real estate investor and carpenter. He recently began a job with Wal-Mart in the dairy department. He was a member of Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and supporting the Sauk Prairie Youth Hockey.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Karen; three children, Joey, Daniel and Marirose, all at home; his mother, Shirley Miller, of Waunakee; sisters, Lori Miller, Sue Henry and Mary Lenz; a brother, David (Terri) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Miller; his grandparents and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ivan and Rosanna Matthews.
Funeral services were Nov. 12 at the Sauk Prairie Evangelical Free Church in Prairie du Sac.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in care of the family.
