Mildred M. Nolden, 94, of Sauk City
Mildred M. Nolden, 94, of Sauk City, died on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie.
Mrs. Nolden was born in the town of Prairie du Sac on July 15, 1915, the daughter of the late Henry and Hilda (Erickson) Leister. She was united in marriage to Monroe Nolden on June 3, 1941. She loved cooking, sewing, and being a mother and wife. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Mrs. Nolden is survived by five children, Maurice (Jackie) Nolden, Richard (Laura) Nolden, Greg (Alice) Nolden, Tom (Rita) Nolden and Sue (Bill) Matth; daughter-in-law, Mary Nolden; two sisters, Mabel Nolden and Ruth Corrao; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe; a son, Donald; granddaughter, Carrie; daughter-in-law, Karen; great-grandson, Tobin; and four brothers, Arthur, Harvey, Donald and Floyd.
A Mass of Christian burial was Oct. 19 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City with Fr. Jared Hood officiating. Burial was in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
