PRAIRIE DU SAC - Sauk Prairie FFA Alumni close out another tractor pulling season with the Fall Truck & Tractor Pull on Aug. 17 and 18 at the FFA Alumni  park.

Dollars raised during the

spring and fall truck and tractor pull fund-raising events is designated to assist with making improvements to the Sauk Prairie High School Agriculture Department's greenhouse. The addition of a shade cloth and hopefully a sprinkler system will help conserve energy and keep plants healthy.

Tractor/truck pull event starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. with hot farm tractors along with nine other classes. Cost is $8, adults and $4, children 6 to 12. Children under 6 are admitted free at both events.

Badger State Pull take to the track on Saturday at 7 p.m. Classes include: Light Limited Super Stock, Pro Farm Tractors, 4-Wheel Drive Super Stock Trucks and Super Farm Tractors, as well as the always thrilling Pro Stock tractors. Cost is $10, adults and $5, children 6 to 12.

Proceeds from the Alumni Fall Pulling Event will benefit the local FFA chapter and agricultural education students providing dollars for scholarships, conference expenses, chapter awards, and the purchase of equipment for the classroom and greenhouse.
