Church Health Services marks 15 years
Church Health Services Inc. marked its 15 year anniversary with the recent visit of Dr. Mary Chase-Ziolek of North Park Theological Seminary located in Chicago. During her two-day stay she took part in an afternoon clinic session, joined Dr. Patrick Remington of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute in a continuing medical education program for the medical staff of Beaver Dam Community Hospital, participated in a noon luncheon with area parish nurses, and then was the keynote speaker at an evening dinner held at the Beaver Dam Country Club. Chase-Ziolek is a registered nurse and received her PhD from Loyola University. She is the director for the Center for Faith and Health at North Park Theological Seminary and the author of a book titled Health, Healing and Wholeness: Engaging Congregations in Ministries of Health. This visit and event was made possible through the support of Horicon Bank and the Duane and Kathleen Foulkes Foundation. Church Health Services is a local, faith-based health care organization that conducts primary care clinics for the medically underserved, offers congregational health programs for area churches, and promotes a transforming health message for all.
