JUNEAU — Steven Schmidt tallied four total touchdowns and ran for 124 yards as Dodgeland sealed a playoff berth with a wild 60-30 Large Trailways win over Johnson Creek Friday.

Schmidt had scoring runs of 1 and 6 yards while adding a 56 yard reception from Wes Jahnke. He also took an interception back 56 yards for a score.

"I was very proud of our seniors," Dodgeland coach Ron Miller said. "We knew we had to win this game to get into the playoffs and they did that."

Dodgeland (5-3, 4-2 Large) piled up 448 yards of total offense against the Bluejays (3-5, 3-3) who also had seven turnovers.

The Trojans end their regular season Thursday at Montello/Princeton.
