The Fall River Police Department, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will sponsor a baby sitting course for children in fifth grade and above on Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Fall River School.  

The room location has not yet been determined. The course fee is $40. The course enrollment is limited, so the first to register and pay will be enrolled.

Children will receive an instructional book and materials to keep. Each child is responsible for his or her own sack lunch and is asked to bring a doll to practice with.
