MAILBAG - Church Health Services; Toy bank support

Church Health Services an area treasure

I am a low income, uninsured person. Over the past year I developed a painful and debilitating condition.  I searched all over trying to find medical help. I was unable to get help until I found Church Health Services.

The care that I received from these kind people saved my life.  But it did more than that. It showed me a sense of human compassion on the part of the community. The people of this area should be proud of this organization and proud of themselves for supporting it.

Toy Bank support spreads holiday cheer

On Dec. 13 the Dodge County Toy Bank provided toys for 1,129 children from 423 families.

A project this large would not be possible without the generosity of the Dodge County community, businesses and organizations and countless hours of volunteer assistance.  Despite the current economic conditions, Dodge County businesses, organizations and individuals opened their hearts and provided toys and funds to allow the toy bank to make Christmas brighter for those less fortunate. We are extremely grateful to all who contributed in any way to make this year's toy bank a success.
