The American Red Cross encourages eligible individuals to make an appointment to donate blood as an inexpensive but lifesaving way to give back to the community.

There will be a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. on April 17 at Hustisford High School.

All blood types are needed. A blood donor card or driver's license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Eligible donors must be at least 17 , or 16 with a signed Red Cross parent/guardian consent form where state permits, must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health.
