"It was always my goal," said Eisenga, who was named to the high honor roll every term. Eisenga is a member of the National Honor Society, and served on the Academic Bowl and math teams. She played volleyball and basketball throughout high school, and went out for the track team as a senior. She said she wishes she had gone out for track all four years. When she was little, Eisenga said she wanted to grow up to be a veterinarian or a teacher. Math was her favorite class, and she said she would like to be a financial advisor. "I want to work with money," Eisenga said. Eisenga plans to work this summer before leaving to pursue that goal by attending Northwestern College in Iowa and studying business. She said she chose that college because all three of her older brothers went to school there and she has family in the area "Keep a good work ethic," Eisenga said as advice for younger students. "Working hard is what go me here. Working hard can help you succeed." Patzlsberger is the youngest of Jon and Laura Patzlsberger's two daughters. She was also named to the high honor roll every term, was a member of the NHS and was on the Academic Bowl and math teams. She also represented her school at Badger Girls State and served three years as a member of the student council. Patzlsberger played volleyball and basketball and is a member of the softball team. Her proudest accomplishments include being named class salutatorian and earning all-conference honors. Her favorite memories include skit night and an away volleyball game at Oshkosh Lourdes in her junior year. She cited coaches Jeff Kohlbeck and Omen as the most influential. Patzlsberger said she will miss sports and her family the most. Her childhood career dreams included being a lawyer or an accountant. She said that in 10 years, she sees herself living in a big city in a job that involves her favorite class, math, and management. She will study business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She said she chose UW-Whitewater for its good business program and "comfortable setting." Patzlsberger also plans to work this summer before leaving for college. "Get involved with as much as you can," Patzlsberger advised incoming freshmen. "Take advantage of all your opportunities." She said that next year's seniors should not take any moment for granted. "It comes sooner than you think," she said of the end of high school. alutey@capitalnewspapers.com
