She was born on Feb. 11, 1931 to Albert and Ella (Becker) Fenske. In 1950 she married LeMoyne Klokow Sr. and has been a Columbus resident since that time.

In 1967 she purchased the Fireman's Tavern in Columbus. She was a wonderful cook and friendly person and she made the Fireman's Tavern famous throughout the area, especially for her delicious soups and hamburgers. You could expect to see her at the grill from morning until closing time. Delores cared for everyone, and you could always know she was there for you with a smile and friendly conversation. In fact, this little corner place was like a second home to many. Delores retired in 2004.

Delores loved her Chicago "Cubbies" and also a good game of cards. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus.

Delores will forever be missed by her three sons, LeMoyne (Peggy) Klokow of Madison, Steve (Beth) Klokow of Columbus and Michael Klokow of Los Angeles; her three grandchildren, Nicole, Peter and Jack Klokow; step-granddaughter, Shawn Goetsch and a very special friend, Evelyn Bengsch of Sun Prairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, LeMoyne in 2002, granddaughter, Lindsay in 1987 and her sister, Dorothy Graville.

Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus is serving the family.
