Eleanor "June" Francois, age 63, of Baraboo, died on Friday, June 26, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1946 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Albert and Alta (Rose) Steffen. June was a 1964 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg. On Aug. 22, 1964, she was married to Glenn Francois. June was employed at Gerber Products in Reedsburg for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn; two daughters: Sherry Fuller of Baraboo and Carrie (Brad) Jenks of Baraboo; five grandchildren: Miranda, Kayla, Tyler, Connor and Kylie; seven brothers and sisters: Wayne (Beth) Steffen of LaValle, Connie (Terry) Ryczek of Reedsburg, Earl (Ruth) Steffen of Lyndon Station, Arthur (Deb Hartje) Steffen of LaValle, Terry (Terry) Smith of Baraboo, Shelby (Ken Kaltenberg) Mitchell of Reedsburg and Dawn (Chris) Linder of Sugarland, Texas; nieces and nephews; relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Marsha Swenson officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Home Health United Hospice would be appreciated.
