Nicholas L. Manlopig, 62 of Reedsburg, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 7, 1946, in Spreckleville, Maui, Hawaii, the son of Reuben and Lucille (Mendez) Manlopig. Nick worked for Homeward Bound for several years. He enjoyed watching movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his fiancée, Bonnie Bates of Reedsburg; five sisters; two brothers; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.  

At his request no services will be held.
