Dorothy A. Amberg

Dorothy “Dotti” A. Amberg, 74, of Lake Delton, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at her residence.

Memorial services will be Friday, July 3, at 11 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton with the Rev. Winton E. Macki officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Dorothy was born Aug. 31, 1934 in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Paul and Anna (nee Colton) Seals. She worked as a manager at the Paradise Motel in Lake Delton for many years, volunteered at St. Vincent’s De Paul, loved corresponding with people through cards and letters, was very involved with Al-Anon and loved to spread the word of God.

Dotti is survived by eight children, Lori (Peter) Williams of Baraboo, Steve (Debbie) Selchow of Wisconsin Dells, Barb (Bob) Medingers of Sitka, Alaska, Don (Bonnie) Roscovius of Tomah, Mike (Vicki) Amberg of Loganville, Becky (Rich) Carter of Rubicon, Joe (Becky) Amberg of Tomah and Kieth (Kim) Amberg of Sun Prairie; sister, Roseann Trezza of Aberdeen, N.J.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale and her brothers Ira and Jack Seals.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent’s De Paul.
