Kevin Jenkins-Garza, 3, of Montello, died Saturday, June 27, 2009.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2 at 1 p.m. at the Turnpoint Pentecostal Church in Big Spring with the Rev. Edward Herman officiating. Burial will be at the Big Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m.

Kevin was born Feb. 28, 2006 in Reedsburg, the son of Nicholas Garza and LaManda (nee McSweeney) Jenkins. He loved to eat, play with trucks, building blocks, his bike and loved to play in the garden.

Kevin is survived by his mother, LaManda (Russell) McSweeney-Jenkins of Montello; father Nicholas (Amy) Garza of Rockton, Ill.; brothers and sisters, Marcus, Austin-Cole, Zarkonia, Jordan, James, Sydney, Isabella, Havanah, Grace, Aziza-Azel, Blake, Syllas and Joseph; grandparents, Cheryl (Ed) Murray of Wisconsin Dells, Tony McSweeney of Florida, Linda Jones of Grand Marsh and Becky (Mike) Hoth of Wisconsin Dells as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his grandfather, Raul P. Garza.
