The Dodge County medical examiner has positively identified the driver in a fatal accident on Highway 49 early Sunday as  Jeffery Lynn Strub, 45, from Sparta, Mo.

Strub was killed when his pickup truck rolled over on Highway 49 near Highway Z and caught fire.

The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, struck a guardrail, then rolled down an embankment and caught fire. The driver was unable to get out of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
