Alma Marie Wolf
Alma Marie Wolf, 102, of Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. A visitation will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Sunday, July 5, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will also be a visitation at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 S. Spring St., in Beaver Dam, on Monday, July 6, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jose Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wis. The former Alma Marie Wagner was born on Dec. 3, 1906, in Milwaukee, to Joseph and Mary (Biene) Wagner. Following training at Milwaukee Business School, Alma worked for four years at the Westinghouse Corp., starting out in accounting, then becoming the floor supervisor for 40 employees. On May 10, 1930, she was united in marriage with Roman Wolf. Alma resided in Dodge County since 1931. Alma and Roman were active farmers in the area until 1971 when they moved to the city of Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, now St. Katharine Drexel Parish. Alma is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Carl) Huber, Allentown, Penn. and Charlene (Neil) Sitenga, Rice Lake; eight grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Loretta Wagner. The family suggests that memorials be made in Alma M. Wolf's name to a charity of one's choice.
