Beatrice Beal
Beatrice Beal, 88, of Wisconsin Dells, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton with Monsignor Felix Oehrlein officiating.
Visitation will be at the Picha Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m.
Beatrice was born Aug. 21, 1920 in Milwaukee the daughter of John and Helen (nee Musolf) Benske. In 1941 she married Ervin Beal, her high school sweetheart, and they lived in the Milwaukee/Pewaukee areas for most of their lives until 1997 when they retired to the Dells area.
Beatrice had been an executive secretary at International Harvester and Waukesha County Technical College from which she retired. She enjoyed trips to Holy Hill and visiting Ho-Chunk Casino. Beatrice was a wonderful cook and her other interests were watching old movies, the Price is Right, Days of Our Lives, Frank Sinatra and animals.
Beatrice is survived by her sons, Bruce (Jennifer) Beal of Oconomowoc, Scott (Eileen) Beal of Hartford and Kris Beal of Wisconsin Dells; daughters, Tunis Beal of Wisconsin Dells, Merrilee Beal of Janesville and Thea (Michael) Harmon of Biloxi, Miss.; a nephew, Robert Rogers; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and a brother, Edwin Benske.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army and the local humane society
