Writer tells students to make a mark on world
Sherman Funmaker never would have guessed he had writing talent, or that he had something important to write.
Funmaker, a member of the Ho-Chunk tribe, found his writing talent later in life as a University of Wisconsin-Baraboo business major taking a required creative writing course.
