Beatryce was born Sept. 1923 in Pine City, Minn, the daughter of George and Molly Fyten. Beatryce married Lyle Briggs on May 1, 1942 in Minneapolis. They moved to the Dells and opened the Rich-O Drive Inn and go-cart track in the early 1960s. Beatryce managed the business for many years. Her dearest joy was her time spent with family and friends. She loved traveling to visit her family, playing cards, bingo, watching the Food Show Network, knitting, sewing, and being a fan of Packer and Badger football.

Beatryce was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle Briggs of 67 years, her children: Ronnie, Katie, Karen and Bonnie, three grandchildren, Molly, Cale (Karen) and Justin (Katie) and son in-law Edgar Serna (Bonnie).

The family is holding a Celebration of Life party for Bea on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the JCC Perlstein Resort/Dining Room, off Clara Avenue in Lake Delton. The family welcomes everyone who knew Bea to attend.
