Wendi L. Fisher, 42, of Oxford, died on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at Divine Savior Healthcare in Portage.

She was born on May 23, 1967 in Stoughton to Clarke and Bonita Anderson Petersen. She graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1985. Wendi lived in Oxford most of her life. She was a receptionist for Portage Plastics for the past six years and was also a bartender at Pride Of America Campground. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandson.

Survivors include her son, Kevin D. Schoffel and fiancé Cortney Adler of Oxford; grandson, Rhyland D. Schoffel; parents, Pete and Bonnie Petersen of Oxford; grandfather, William Anderson of Oxford; special partner, Michael Adler; other relatives and by “all the hearts she has touched.”

She was preceded in death by a brother, Christian Petersen, grandmother, Virginia Anderson, grandparents, Otto and Charlotte Petersen, nephew, Alexander Petersen, and uncles Otto Petersen, Jr and Terry Anderson.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage. Burial will be at the Newport Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage, on Sunday from noon until 1:30 p.m.
