Temperatures in the high 30s and overcast skies had little effect across the Dells-Delton area and its throngs of little ghouls, goblins and assorted super heroes. From Spring Hill Cemetery to Outlet at the Dells and the Delton Fire Department to neighborhoods across the area, trick-or-treaters were out in force, with tons of candy awaiting.

Retired Wisconsin Dells teacher John Campbell led a spooky tour through the cemetery as the afternoon light began to fade, and over at the mall in Lake Delton, the annual costume contest attracted its usual complement of cuteness and creativity. The evening’s activities reached a fever pitch at the Delton Fire Department, where hundreds of local tots took turns diving into piles of popcorn and candy, all of them walking away with enough treats to last them into spring.
