A heavily disguised person robbed the Lake Delton Dyno Stop of an undisclosed amount of money the morning of Oct. 31, authorities say.

The suspect, believed to be a male of slim build and 5-feet, 6-inches tall, entered the store at 1280 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South just before 7:30 a.m. and demanded the clerk place money in a plastic bag, according to a news release from the Lake Delton Police Department.

The suspect left the store via the rear door and was gone by the time police arrived.

The suspect wore “all dark-colored clothing, which consisted of a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, dark gloves and dark-colored shoes with white vertical stripes,” the news release said. “The suspect’s face was completely covered by the hooded sweatshirt and a black cloth mask with a skull design on the front.”

“The clerk believed the suspect was a male based on the tone of voice,” the release states.

Lake Delton police detectives continue to investigate and ask anyone with information about the crime to contact the department or Sauk County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-TIP-SAUK.
