The Dells Country Historical Society would like to thank everyone that purchased tickets to our recent pancake breakfast fundraiser held at Mr. Pancake. The society received one hundred percent of the funds raised. These funds will be used to help keep the doors open to our Bowman House Museum. We would also like to thank the Thompson and Knoop family from Mr. Pancake for their generous support.
The DCHS would also like to thank Kraemer Bros., Marc McCloskey, Larry Coon and Mark Hamburg for their donation of time, talent and treasure in the repair of the screen porch roof on the museum. Their generous support is very much appreciated by the society.
We are fortunate to have such a beautiful museum located in our beautiful park for all to enjoy. The generous support of the community and its members is so important and vital. We must all help to keep the museums doors open for future generations; for the history of the Dells and its people is unique and we all love The Dells. The society needs the next generation of volunteers to help us keep that doorway open. Please contact our President, Jean Brew; Curator, Carol Burgess; Vice President, Lisa McClyman; Treasurer, Gail Jermier (all numbers are in the book) for information on joining this wonderful organization.
