Columbus Middle School sixth-graders spent Oct 11-15 learning about Wisconsin wildlife and how to identify wildlife. They studied wildlife track identification and then made plaster tracks of wildlife animals in class. Each student also created a Wildlife Card about one Wisconsin wildlife mammal to share with peers. The students passed around their track, pelts and scat mold during their presentations. Josee Downing shares her Wildlife Card, pelt and antler for the white-tailed deer.
