Marquette County Home and Community Educators will present “Souper Soups Part IX” Jan. 29 at the Services Center, 480 Underwood Ave. in Montello, from 10 a.m. to noon.
This program is open to the public, but participants must register so that plans can be made for the food and seating. There will be a cost of $8 per person which includes the demonstration, recipes and hearty samples of the soups.
The instructor will be Pat Cook, who is known throughout the area for her innovative and delicious recipes. This cooking class builds on many other soup classes she has taught over the past few years, adding new soups and new twists on soups you already love.
Cook will provide the information needed to put together some fabulous soups to keep your family warm and happy during the cold winter days. She will encourage questions and comments from the audience throughout the program.
Call 608-297-3141 to make a reservation by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25, because class size may be limited. People will need to register with their name, phone number and by paying $8 no later than Jan. 24, or when registration reaches 38, whichever comes first.
Cash or check for $8, made out to Pat Cook, should be dropped off at the UW-Extension office or mailed to UWEX/HCE Soups, P.O. Box 338, 480 Underwood Ave., Montello, WI 53949.
