Noon Year’s Eve: 11 a.m., Baraboo Public Library, 230 Fourth Ave., Baraboo. Kids ages 11 and younger can celebrate the new year at the fourth annual Countdown to Noon Year’s Eve party. Attendees will have fun with bubbles, games, crafts, face painting, and popcorn. When the clock strikes noon, balloons will drop as we toast the New Year with sparkling juice. Winter party: 7-9:30 p.m., Devil’s Lake State Park. Telescopes will be set up to view the winter stars alongside a camp fire roasting marshmallows. Meet at the Rock Elm shelter near the North Shore boat launch.

Sunday, Dec. 31

Breakfast: 8 a.m. to noon, Baraboo Knights of Columbus Council 746, gym, St. Joseph Parish School, 300 Second St., Baraboo. Pancake breakfast with all-you-can-eat pancakes with toppings, sausage, eggs, juice, milk or coffee. Cost is $6 for adults, $1 for kids. Parking is available. Proceeds will benefit The Kids' Ranch.

Bingo: 5 p.m., St. Joseph Parish, St. Joseph School gym, 310 Second St., Baraboo. Doors open at 5 p.m. for New Year's Eve Bingo with two 10-game sessions at 6 p.m. followed by Progressive Jackpot Bingo at 8 p.m. Cash prizes; family fun; concession stand; raffle. Hike: 1 p.m., Ice Age Trail Alliance Lodi Valley Chapter, the old parking area at Gibraltar Rock on Highway V. For directions, visit Watch for yellow event signs. Dress appropriately for weather and terrain. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. Walking sticks are recommended and a few will be available. Hot chocolate will be served. Parkinson's group: 10:30-11:30 a.m., Baraboo Area Wide Parkinson’s Support Group, Pulse Fitness Center, 501 Hitchcock St., Baraboo. Exercise program to help improve strength, balance and emotional state in those affected by the disease. Class meets Tuesdays and Fridays.
