The Baraboo Range Preservation Association will host the next presentation in the 2019 Cabin Fever Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Science facility, 1006 Connie Road, Baraboo. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for cookies and coffee.

Dr. Susan Paskewitz, chair of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Entomology Department, will present "Lyme Disease in the Local Landscape," covering the latest information from her medical entomology lab’s investigation into the dynamics of tick populations and disease transmission in relation to deer density and small mammal communities.
