Nancy Mae Molizon, 79, of Baraboo, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, with her family by her side.
Nancy, daughter of Albert and MaryAlice (Hintz) Trost, was born Oct. 12, 1938. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood. At the age of 18, Nancy moved to Chicago, where she raised her family. She was a member of Teamsters Local 710 in Chicago for more than 40 years, until her retirement when she moved back to Wisconsin and spent time traveling. She was an avid sports fan, her favorite teams being the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox. Nancy had a big family with many friends, a big heart and was always willing to help anyone. Her grandchildren meant the world to her; she was very involved in every aspect of their lives and took great pride in all of their accomplishments.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Vicky) Obszarny, Denise (Mark) Alford, Michelle (Dave) Gale, Renee Molizon and Darlene (Joseph LaBrier) Molizon; grandchildren, Veronica, Ronny II, Nico, Bobby, Gina, David, Kenny, Danielle and Kayla; and great-grandchildren, Ronny III, Mathew, Graysen, Tyler and Dominic. She is further survived by her siblings, Mary Lou Cauley, Albert D. “Butch” (Lyndi) Trost, Jr. and Beverly Quandt; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Leonard “Lenny” Obszarny; infant grandson Matthew Obszarny; and sister Jean Steen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Redlin Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Thursday at the church. Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
