Fair opens with cat show

Sauk County Junior Fairest of the Fair Aislyn Bohl holds Noah Hess' cat Badger after the domestic shorthair was named reserve champion Monday during the annual cat show in the Badger Building. The Sauk County Fair continues today through Sunday.

The Sauk County Fair takes place today through Sunday at the Sauk County Fairgrounds, 700 Washington Ave., in Baraboo.

Today’s schedule:

9 a.m. Judging Day for open class exhibits

10 a.m. Commercial Building opens until 9 p.m.

10 a.m. Milk Tent free recipes, stickers and more

11 a.m. Aging & Disability presents dementia-friendly training, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

Noon, Youth and open class exhibit buildings open

1 p.m. Berning’s Busy Bees presents beekeeping education, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

3 p.m. UW Master Gardner presents container gardening for all ages, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

4 p.m. Carnival opens — $25 Wristband

5 p.m. Sheep Show, Progress Hall

5 p.m. Perea Sisters music performance, FAME Stage, Commercial Building
