As People Helping People looks forward to serving the Baraboo area in 2019, we would like to thank everyone who supported our community building efforts in 2018.

From our annual corporate sponsors to those who attended our spring jubilee or fall golf outing, contributed to our bake sales or December Stomp Out Hunger event, or purchased a meal at one of our brat fries -- we thank you with all our hearts.

Your support allowed PHP to provide 315 holiday meals to low-income families, as well as additional groceries, children’s clothing and school supplies for more than 300 families in distress. PHP also donated 17,946 pounds of groceries to food pantries in Sauk, Juneau, Columbia and Adams counties. Our Work Ready program is going strong.

The Rev. Bill Harris and his crew of trainees have detailed 345 vehicles since mid-2017, with 18 Work Ready trainees graduating from the program. Rev. Harris has also mentored more than 100 people who visited PHP headquarters looking for help.

On behalf of the PHP advisory board and volunteers, we wish all of you “a best day ever” all the way through 2019.

Ellen Bueno, secretary, People Helping People, Baraboo
