Democratic members of both chambers of Congress introduced bills that threaten the free exercise of religious and free speech. The Senate's bill, S.788 and House bill, HR 5, both known as the poorly named "Equality Act," broadly impose the LGBT agenda and do not exempt churches or religious employers, organizations or colleges.

HR5 elevates "sexual orientation and gender identity" to the same protected category as race. It will violate the religious freedom of Americans in numerous ways. HR 5 is a bill that pushes the LGBT agenda on all people and targets Christianity in every area of life — including the church.

It will impact all employers, including religious and nonprofit organizations; contractors; houses of worship; public, private and religious schools; curriculum; bathrooms; sports; daycare providers; shelters; hospitals; and many other areas.

Since LGBT will be elevated to the same level as race, and the law will be expanded far beyond its current reach, noncompliance will result in revocation of tax-exemption for churches and nonprofits, and loss of accreditation for colleges. This bill will be a wrecking ball to every area of life.

Call your legislator today to tell them to vote "no" on this dangerous bill.
