Police siren lights

Wellness check — At 9:59 a.m. Monday, police received a report of a small child screaming out a window for her mother in the 300 block of North University Avenue. The grandmother was babysitting the child, who wanted her mother.

Animal abuse — At 10:41 a.m. Monday, police received a report that a man choked his dog and threw the animal into the back of a van at Swan City Park. The owner said he was disciplining the dog.

Pokémon Go — At 3:23 p.m. Monday, police received a report that teenage girls were acting strange around Frances lane and Gateway Drive. They were playing Pokémon Go.

Fight — At 4:40 p.m. Monday, police received a report of two men fighting in a front yard in the 800 block of East South Street.

Neighbor dispute — At 6:53 p.m. Monday, someone reported a neighbor yelling profanities in the 300 block of Park Avenue. They were arguing over property.

Theft — At 8:05 p.m. Monday, a woman reported someone stole her wallet from her shopping cart at Walmart, 120 Frances Lane.

Explosions — At 8:42 p.m. Monday, police assisted county deputies in looking for a bright orange Ford Mustang Shelby 500 with a stripe following reports of small explosions in a mailbox and a portable toilet in the town of Trenton.

Theft — At 11:10 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a phone, cash box and client folders were missing from Lasdoschicas, 120 Front St.
