Officials will be on hand in Beaver Dam next week to discuss grant programs for those looking to repair or purchase a home in Dodge County.

Funds are available through the US Department of Agriculture and the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant Program to provide zero-percent interest loans for major home repairs or assistance in down payments and closing costs for buying a new home.

There will be two meetings at the Watermark in Beaver Dam, 209 S. Center St., on May 23 at and 5:30 p.m. USDA rural development representatives will be in attendance.

The homes those interested are looking to buy or renovate must be located in Dodge County.

Applicants must meet certain income requirements. For a household of four, total income cannot exceed $50,650.
