Donald H. Kiesow, 81, Horicon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at Marvin’s Manor in Horicon.

Donald was born the son of August and Lydia (Drews) Kiesow in December 1937 in Horicon. He was a 1955 graduate of Horicon High School. Don served his country in the U.S. Air Force for his career where he was stationed throughout the world. Don was a very intelligent and likable person who had a great love for children. Don was also member of St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon.

Don is survived by his sisters-in-law, Nanjean Kiesow of Brandon, Pearl Kiesow of Ocala, Florida, and Norma Kiesow of Sun Prairie; a special niece, Sara Beck-Counard of Horicon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Norman, Orville, Reinhardt, Loraine Byington, Marvin and Arthur.

A memorial gathering will be held at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon with graveside military honors conducted by Horicon American Legion Post 157.

Memorials may be directed to St. Stephen Lutheran Church and School in Horicon.
