Semi fire briefly shuts down 151 lane on Saturday

A lane on Highway 151 northbound at Highway A was shut down for about 50 minutes on Saturday night as Beaver Dam Fire Department responded to a semi on fire.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, a call came in at 11:25 p.m. from a semi-truck driver who reported that his vehicle was on fire after a tire had blown out. The Beaver Dam Fire Department was dispatched and extinguished the fire.

The driver, a 41-year-old Fremont man, was not injured.

The Beaver Dam Police Department also assisted at the scene.
