Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre, its audiences and its participants are riding the wave of excitement, enjoying the beautiful, fully accessible BDACT Fine Arts Center with its 340-seat auditorium.

Serving the Beaver Dam area, BDACT is built on the love of the arts, exceptional talents, learning opportunities and community support. Thousands of all ages, on stage, back stage, and in the audience, grew up with BDACT since 1964.

Now, as a vibrant community institution, BDACT invites everyone who has not seen the new Fine Arts Center, or who has not seen its hundreds of productions, to join the celebration. Treat yourself to fine entertainment at 117 W. Maple Ave., downtown Beaver Dam.

The rousing comedy, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” is on through May 5; “One Voice,” the new children’s choir on May 10; the ever-popular Local Vocals from May 16-18. Watch for the musical, “Newsies” in June, “Tell-A-Tale” shows in July, and “Annie” in August. For more information, visit bdact.org.

Other ways to support BDACT is to volunteer time while learning, or offer much-needed manual or organizational skills. Contact volunteers@bdact.org or call 920-885-6891.
